I was placed on hold and finally Spencer Hutchings answered. It was the same words coming out from his mouth just like the other incompetent employees that work there. I demanded to see their verbal policies on an official document but no one can provide us w/ one. It sounds like they’re making policies as they go. Nothing indicates in writing that military orders needs to be
submitted in order to cancel but I did submit my orders anyway. Nothing indicates that
Vivint needs some form of document stating the military member is living “on base.

The camera is a plain looking black plastic rectangle—which
contains a round lens, privacy shutter, microphone, and LED indicator—that slides onto a black metal stand. At 4. 56 by 2. 55 by 2. 08 inches HWD and 5. 3 ounces, it's pretty standard in size as far as home surveillance cameras go. Video is captured in 720p, but looks surprisingly good.

However the reason I do not recommend them is that their cameras and NVRs are locked down – they do not work with any other brand or manufacturer’s products. You can see under the compatible products section of the product page, they list only a few Swann NVRs. This is because they do not support the ONVIF standard which guarantees inter operability. Or in other
words you are stuck with them once you start buying their cameras/NVRs similar to what Apple does with iOS.
